(Character) had traveled far this day and had seen much that he would remember. Camp was made early, and it felt good to feel the night air and to read the stars. Suddenly, the stars were blotted out as a shape plummeted down towards him. Rolling quickly to one side, he was only just able to ready his weapons when the shape landed with a soft thud. In the darkness, a huge head sat upon many legs and realization struck that he had encountered a giant Spider. The Spider turns her head to look directly into his eyes and scuttles quickly towards him.
