Lore from Lorien - As reported last month, Middle-earth™ PBM is coming along, growing ever closer to completion. Thanks to the effort and long hours put in by Pete, Bill and Rico, Tolkien's fantasy realm is becoming more and more of a reality! Applications for the first playtests are now being accepted, so if you would like to participate, send one in. We're looking for people familiar with both the game world, and with PBM in general. Playtests are tentatively scheduled for early Spring.
If you find that you can't wait 'til Spring to adventure into Middle-earth, then journey down to your nearest game store and pick up a copy of I.C.E.'s newest MERP module, "Perils on the Sea of Rhun", written by our own Bill Feild and Pete Stassun! Based on a long running campaign, in which I had the pleasure to participate, "Perils on the Sea of Rhun" includes three exciting scenarios that can be linked together for a grand adventure or played independently! Watch for it to appear soon! (Note that this is an I.C.E. gaming product and not available through G.S.I.)
