Lomaw was a grey-white Ice Drake who resided in a snow-cave at Collarmount in the Talath Oiohelka just south of the Dying Glacier in the Grey Mountains. He was one of only two Ice-drakes in the region. Extremely agile, clever, and capable of freezing toes within 600 feet, he was among the most deadly of the Dragons of the North.
(character) had traveled many long and twisting paths this day. The mountain passes were always difficult to find and the trails had a way of changing their markings. The last path showed promise as it snaked its way toward the top of this particular mountain. Perhaps this was the right path after all. Suddenly, the path ended in what seemed to be a giant cave entrance. Lying in front of the entrance was a being that generated instant fear and respect. A grey white Dragon lay there and the ancient name leapt unbidden to memory. This one was known as "Lomaw", and as the grey white scaled head swiveled up to gaze with piercing eyes, the mouth opened to...speak?

Offer TEN thousand gold: Recruited. Bobbins - Killed Fire King Emissary - Doug Bierbower
† DS characters tend to get away (at least in my experience).
Killed Lowmaw by encounter with Elrond with 270 challenge and Aranruth to help vs Evil Creatures. Took no damagae, gained Fearful Hearts, but had to message MEPBM since I didn't get any reward. Reacted using ATTACK. -Ned Merrick
Drawing his weapons and calling upon his courage, he leapt to the attack with a battle scream rolling from his lips. Lomaw looked down at the mage before him. This fight would not be like the old days! The Dragon opened his great maw and blew a terrible freezing breath at the mage. Luckily, he was able to leap to the side thereby suffering only minor burns. If that had hit, the fight would already be over. He circled the great beast and attempted to find a spell that would wound him, but the spells seemed not to bother Lomaw. Suddenly, Dragon magic arced in the air and stunned him and, before he could recover, a talon had sliced him open. With a great cry, he stumbled back and gritted his teeth against the pain. Lomaw, seeing his victory near, leaped forward, only to find that the mage had one spell left. With a gasp, he fired his last spell deep into the Dragon's body and then collapsed as he watched the Dragon's death throes.
