- Gateway to the three Loyalist-recruitable Ents — Treebeard, Skinbark, Leaflock — each a separate NPC encounter with its own favourable responses (Treebeard DRINK→+C; Skinbark ASK→+E; Leaflock HELP→+C).
- ⚠️ Ents are dangerous & easily provoked: apologising / 'leaving peacefully' responses have killed characters (an Ent killed Legolas on turn 1; Skinbark especially). Avoid Fangorn unless you intend to recruit. 🟢
