At the side of the road sat a hunched figure, heavy black robes pulled about him despite the heat of the day. Features lost in the dark cowl of his hood, he seemed lost in thought. As [Character] sought to walk past, however, suddenly the man shot out a gloved hand to grip him by the arm, pulling him down towards him. Cursing, [Character] sought to break free from the chill grip, but to no avail, as he felt the man’s gaze full upon him, an almost palpable sense of menacing evil bearing down upon him. “Know thee not the Blind Sorcerer?” the figure hissed, and with shock approaching panic, [Character] recognized the title sometimes given to the Nazgul Akhorahil. “Dare you to look into the eyes of death?”
