Cresting one of the hills that swelled beneath the heavy mantle of Fangorn forest, [Character] saw movement below. As if some great behemoth was passing through the forest, trees swayed and stirred, and birds, taking to the air, called out in indignation. Deciding to investigate, [Character] cautiously made his way down the hill. The path the beast had taken was clear to see from a deep furrow cut into the earth, and following this, he soon came upon a huge creature, more like to tree than man, with skin of bark and great, seven-toed feet planted deep into the earth. And from stories told to him as a child, he recalled the name for such a being, an Ent. Laboring mightily, the creature dragged a huge rock behind him, and seemed to grumble to himself as he went, “Leaflock do this, hrum, Leaflock do that, hrum...”
