We are looking to build a more comprehensive database of dragon information, including various encounter responses and a list of known locations. Please contact us if you are willing to share historical turn files with this information. You will be credited for your contributions.
Dragons (or Drakes) are the most famous and feared monsters in Middle-earth. No race of creatures instills so much awe, or is cause for so much wonder and story-telling. They are Morgoth's supreme conception.
Dragons are enchanted beasts. Magic flows through their caustic blood, and many are powerful spell-casters. Some utilize their skills to crush their foes, while others wield enchantments in more subtle ways. All dragons bask in power and enjoy dominating other creatures, and many know an array of potent mind-manipulation spells. Coupled with their sharp intellect, these incantations can drive a stalwart Man or Elf to lay down his arms or even wage war upon his brethren.
In MEPBM, depending upon the Module, some dragons can be recruited to come to the aid of your nation and join an army for a time. A list of known dragons are included below.
(Jeremy Richman) Please take note that since the code was moved over, sometimes dragons do not respond as they should, and you have to ask MEG to correct it. For example, there's practically no response that can rouse Ruingurth, and you can always do a default flee, but he killed my character. When I asked them to look into it, they corrected the response and restored him to life.
